So I have been gone for a while, not in real life, just in the blog world.....I'm hoping someone actually cares, but we'll see. I now have a new camera that has taken SO many wonderful pictures in the last year or so, but I'll spare you all of them and just post some for now! I hope anyone reading this has been well and is enjoying life as much as we are. I would just like to add that kids, although trying at times, are on of God's most precious things on earth and I am SO grateful for my little family!Matt and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on June 6th! He is so amazing! We always do traditional gifts and this year was wood. So my gift to him was a puzzle box shaped like a fighter jet with a wedding ring in it. It's a long story realy, but the short version is that he lost his origional ring and our style had been discontinued by the time I had saved enough to get him another one. But the lady called me and told me that she finally found one after three years of searching! I was so excited to get our matching bands back. I think in all honesty, he was more excited about the puzzle box, but what do you expect from the guy right? Anyway, his gift to me was a traditional Celtic love spoon. His family decends from an Irish Celtic background and they are very proud of their heritage so this was especially special. It is a spoon made completely of wood and the man gives it to the one he loves and wants to spend the rest of his life with. Each spoon's handle has a different meaning depending on what symbol(s) the handle creates. I love it but not nearly as much as I love this guy!
At the west side drive in in Boise just waiting for our AMAZING food! We ate in the rain.....yeah....it was THAT good!
